WANTED: Israel Lorenzo Itehua for attempted murder

Update: Itehua was detained while trying to cross the U.S.-Mexico border at San Ysidro on November 7, 2013.

Israel Lorenzo Itehua, a 20-year old gang member, is a suspect wanted in connection with the shooting of a mother of two children in Bellflower in 2012.

The victim is not related to the suspect and she suffered a gunshot wound that has left her paralyzed from the chest down.

The Attempted Murder took place in the 15700 block of Eucalyptus Avenue in the city of Bellflower at 12:50AM, February 11, 2012.

- Male Hispanic, 5’09”, 160lbs, Black hair/Brown eyes

Itehua has two visible tattoos on his arms: The word “UNO” on his right arm, and “OCHO” on his left arm.

Suspect Itehua has frequented the communities of Bellflower, Norwalk, Pomona and Rialto.

The suspect is considered Armed and Dangerous. Anyone who sees the suspect shouldnot attempt to contact him. Dial 911 of your local law enforcement agency immediately.
