3 Suspects Named in Shooting of 7-year-old Girl

Palmdale, California - September 5, 2013

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting of a 7-year-old girl that occurred at 12:45 AM on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, in the 5100 block of Essex Drive, Palmdale.

Three suspects are under arrest in connection with the shooting: Jesus Peralta, M/H 22, a resident of Palmdale; Carlos Peralta, M/H 19, a resident of Palmdale; and Eduardo Diaz, M/H, a resident of Littlerock. All three suspects were arrested and booked at Palmdale Sheriff's Station for attempt murder. Each suspect is being held in lieu of one million dollars bail.

Detectives are not looking for any additional suspects.

The 7-year-old child, Desirae Macias, continues to be still listed in extremely critical condition.
