LASD Lancaster Station: Investigation leads to 2 arrests for Meth Sales, Child Endangerment

LASD Lancaster Station - Lancaster, California - January 9, 2014

After a lengthy investigation, Deputies with the LAN-CAP Team served a search warrant at a residence located on the 200 block of E. Ave J-8.

Deputies found approximately ¼ pound of methamphetamine during the search and recovered approximately $500 in cash, a handgun, and seized the suspect’s vehicle.

Arrested at the home were Suspect Francisco Nunez and his girlfriend, Suspect Veronica Garcia. They both have a 1 year-old child in common who was also at the home.

The two suspects were arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine for Sales, along with several other felony charges, including Child Endangerment. The child was taken into protective custody.

The residence was directly north of Joshua Elementary School.

Both suspects were booked at the Lancaster Station Jail and each held on $100,000 bail.
