On Wednesday, November 6, 2013, deputies from the Palmdale Partners Against Crime (PAC) team conducted a seven location compliance check of registered sex-offenders throughout the Palmdale area. One arrest was made during these searches.
Arrested during the compliance check was 50-year-old Palmdale resident Arthur Greene, who was found in the 38000 block of 30th Street East, in the City of Palmdale. Green was arrested for falsifying his address at the time he registered with Palmdale Sheriff Station.
Greene was transported to Palmdale Sheriff Station where he was booked on charges of failure to register as a sex offender with a bail amount of $20,000. Greene is scheduled to be arraigned on Friday, November 8, 2013 at the Antelope Valley Courthouse.
Six other locations were searched and all registered sex-offenders at the locations were found to be in compliance with the court ordered terms for their release.
